Ocean Freight Index updateFriday 20 May 2011 The Baltic Supramax Index (BSI) closed on Monday at 1393 points, a decrease of 1% or 16 points since April's report.The BSI (Baltic Supramax Index), published by the Baltic Exchange, is the weighted average on 5 major time-charter routes. It is based on a 52,454 mt bulk carrier carrying commodities such as timber.
