New Zealand environmental specialist, Toitū, recently held a panel to discuss how New Zealand's transportation and logistics industry, the nation's second-largest emissions source, can take effective climate action. They shed light on the critical pressures facing supply chains and how to respond to the growing emissions measurement and reporting requirements.

Transport and logistics can play an integral role in decarbonisation across industries and organisations. The panellists emphasised the growing need to measure supply chain carbon emissions and the information customers and stakeholders seek regarding the impact of transport and moving goods. Better data visibility and accurate measurement is vital.
