SnapSTAT - Forest area for OECD countries

This chart, titled "Forest area in OECD countries," displays the percentage of forested land area for various OECD countries in 2012 and show large variations in forest cover among these nations.

Finland leads with the highest percentage of forested land at 72.9%, followed closely by Sweden (69.2%) and Japan (68.6%). At the other end of the spectrum, Iceland has a minimal 0.32% of its land covered in forest. New Zealand is in the middle with 31.3% forest cover.
