Dynamotive to develop biofuel complexes in Argentina

Friday 28 Mar 2008

Dynamotive Energy Systems Corporation has submitted plans to invest C$105 million to build two electricity generation complexes in north-eastern Argentina. Each plant will consist of a 15.7 MW generation station powered by its bio-oil product, produced from wood waste and forest residue. The bio-oil will be produced by two 200-tonne-per-day modular plants. Excess fuel will be sold to commercial and industrial markets. Once the complexes are fully operational 340,000 dry tonnes of biomass will be produced annually which will allow for further expansion to other locations.
