NZ Resource Management conference heads South

This year’s conference theme explores themes around land use and water quality. ‘Land Use, Water; a world of difference’ plays on the Central Otago tourism brand to define the conference themes. The first day explores the international, national, regional and farm based approaches to managing the potential effects of land use on water quality. Three southern regional council approaches to water quality will be examined and farmers in each region will outline what it means to them. To conclude the first day the Otago Peninsula, one of the most accessible and stunning eco-tourism venues in the world is explored. The themes introduced on day one will be revisited on the second day with a planned field trip.

The event runs in Dunedin on 13-15 November and further details can be viewed here.
