Gunns CEO Greg L'Estrange gone

Gunns Ltd's CEO Greg L'Estrange has been ousted by the company’s receivers, according to The Australian. KordaMentha terminated L’Estrange’s contract last Wednesday but is retaining other senior managers while it reviews staffing arrangements for the beleaguered Australian forest products company, the newspaper reported. L'Estrange had run the company since 2010. Other senior Gunns staff, including Timo Piilonen, project director of the stalled Bell Bay, Tasmania, pulp mill project, are being retained pending the staffing review.
