Two new key presenters for Wood Innovations 2012

As well as the extensive line-up of solid wood and panels innovators already lined up from Australia, NZ, the US, Canada, Austria, Germany and the UK, two new presenters have been added to the Wood Innovations 2012 programme set up for local companies.

In New Zealand, we’ve been lucky to secure a presentation from Andrew Caddell, Trade Commissioner and Global Practice Lead, Forestry Innovations, Global Business Opportunities Bureau from Canada (left in photo) to present on “Canada’s Forestry Innovations Global Practice: Working Strategically with a Sunrise Industry”.

In Australia, in addition to insights into the latest research and product developments out of Europe relating to wood modification technologies, wood plastic composites and the development and impact on manufacturing out of China we have a new presentation from Norway, by Eric Larnoy (right in photo) who will be presenting on “A New Alternative to Chemical Wood Protection”.

Registrations for this new technology related event are also still flowing in so check out the website for your own company’s registrations. The first in the series runs in Melbourne on 10-11 October with the NZ leg of the series running a week later in Rotorua on 16-17 October 2012.
