Forest harvest rights sold for AU$670m

The price has now been revealed for the sale of future harvesting rights for forests in the south-east of South Australia. The Government said the harvest rights were sold for AU$670 million, achieving a price above the reserve. The buyer as previously reported is a consortium led by US company The Campbell Group, trading in Australia as OneFortyOne Plantations.
